@fdsffdd Other way round. FC2's got the better performances. Namely Gene Hackman's. He carries the show.

@fdsffdd I didn't like the final of the 1st part because it's so sad, everything ends BADLY, i couldn't believe that after everything what i saw during all the movie it ever could end like that! The 2nd part is a worse movie but it looks like a 2nd chance to Popeye.

I like French Connection II better, the ending is incredible, the best colour film Frankenheimer ever did.

This has the fastest ending of any film boom - the credits roll.

Cannot top the first movie. That was based on a true story. This one was more of a revenge film and was fiction. Just wierd to see Popeye doped up. Hated that, he was like that through most of the film
