This is a demo of the ESky Lama v4. This is the 2.4ghz model meaning it's not prone to interference and you don't need to change crystals. I've modified this with a few after market parts:
* Extreme Blades - these are nearly unbreakable and a must if you upgrade nothing else!
* Extreme Inner shaft - this is alloy and raises the top blades by 8mm (almost stops blade clash in high G left hand turns).
* Extreme inner gear - much stronger plastic than the original
* Extreme alloy swashplate - much better wearing and looks cooler ;-)

This Helicopter is super stable and easy to fly. If you can fly a 3 or 3.5 channel you can fly one of these. Lama's have a "head hold gyro" which means it will stay pointing pretty much where you pointed it.

  • Are they better than the airy harden blades?

  • @aldrin2598 I couldn't say because I've not used the airy harden blades. I can only say they are far better than the original Esky ones

  • You said those blades are unbreakable.....where do you get those and how much...I always break mine:)

  • @aldrin2598 You can get them from helidirect. com for around 5 dollars

  • do you recommend this Esky lama v4 or Esky big lama?

  • @aytorou Because both self stabilize they don't handle wind very well making them really indoor heli's. If you don't have a large indoor area get the normal one as the big Lama will put holes in the wall if it hits and break stuff

  • Have you broken them up to now?

  • @101funworld - LOL good question! I actually prefer the Blue one but there's a company called Xtreme that do pretty cool after market ones too. Look for the ESL403 tail, ESL402 skids, and ESL401 canopy. A bit expensive but they look great. This guy has gone nuts with his @neoxis002

  • @discoape Okay, I've tested it out, and I've got a few more questions, sometimes only the bottom blades spin (the B blades), and I'm wondering why its doing this? Also sometimes when it does work, I notice that the helicopter starts turning in circles, even though everything is centered? And one more question, what positions should the SERVO REVERSERs be in? Thanks

  • @discoape Cheers mate, I'll test it out once it stops raining, and I'll let you know how it goes,

    Thanks again
