Idk why lots of buy expensive HDMI cables, I buy my Sony and monster cable off the swatmi for a dollar each. I can 1080p and 3d just fine.

i didnt know that much about cables. i listened to my friend boast about monster cables and 20 mbps cables. and the bestbuy guy boast about my 3d wont work unless i have monster cables. i bought my 3d tv and 3d bluray player and hdmi cables at costco and i got 3d content on my tv. those people at bestbuy think they are better with electronics than everyone else. im not an audiophile but im not stupid either

@koymale if your still having this problem then right click the speaker icon next to the clock then click playback devices and samsung tv should be in the list set that as default and unclick speakers. it will send the sound through the hdmi cable to your tv.

fiber optic glass doesn't brake. Its made differently. Not to say its any better than plastic.

I am looking for a cable for my xbox 360 and just bought a 1080p LG 60hz LCD. Any suggestions off monoprice? Should I get the high speed hdmi cables?
