Radio Interference - Plasma TV & PLI

Try promoting the hobby of Amateur Radio with this sort of interference rendering it practically useless on HF. Video was taken Jan 2009, the PLI has since been attended to by the power company. Fingers crossed so far so good for 3 months but still a few PLI sources intermittently around.

Hi I am an Electrosensitive if you think your radio is in trouble spare a thought for me I have been palgued by a Pioneer 42inch plasma 50m over the road which when on contaminates everything mains, telecoms,plants walls,matresses,fishtank and more sadly me, I am driven away from my home by this on a daily basis. THE SOUND YOU PLAY CAN BE PICKED UP ON MY am RADIO AT 1600KHZ, on the above. I had offcom check this out last year and they said it was found to be within BS ? aNY IDEAS -

As a matter of fact most of the 80m interference has died down and the PLI on 20m was addressed to an extent and is no where near around as much anymore...

Yes, I have the same problem. Runs all through the 80mb and some of 40m, as well as 4mhz. Annoying as hell.

That does not help me ? what can be done in my case both mains and telecoms are swamped by the plasma signal and I get very sick from this its the straw that breaks the camels back
