Ah, THE classic hot rod race! With GREAT shots of the old 2-hump wooden roller coaster in the background. The yellow #2 was none other than A.J. Foyt. My uncle Bill Blumrick was driving out there about this time, but I don't know what # he drove then. I was not yet a year old in 1952. Later on at Meyer he drove #7. Billy Wade was at Playland, too. He was killed at Daytona some years later during a tire test.
