@nbarile18 "End?" Nowhere in the Ryan plan do we call for an "end" to entitlements! The problem is when you give people a blank check they're going to use it to its fullest! My parents are doctors and they see this firsthand. People who would actually care about spending their own money on healthcare don't when it comes to Medicare. They buy ridiculous treatments and fairy-tale exotic medicines because IT'S NOT THEIR MONEY! Even if they paid 5 percent maybe they'd manage the money better!

@MiHiVidz Oh, stop with the anti-senior citizen fear factor already! BOTH of my grandparents receive medicare and social security- am I trying to throw them into the streets! We should reform it for people who are UNDER 55- not end it, reform it! Additionally, we must allow people to opt-out of Social Security and Medicare taxes and we'll have a lot less to pay! I'm sure anyone can manage their retirement better than the government!

@MiHiVidz Why don't we? You're assuming I support every military-industrial position in our government! We should end all foreign aid INCLUDING Israel (coming from an Israeli supporter). We can't even finance our own budget- it's madness to give other country's money! But as I said before, these are miniscule amounts compared to monstrous entitlements. Let's cut all foreign aid- ok, 10 billion. You can cut the whole budget but if you refuse to touch entitlement's you'll never balance it.

@MiHiVidz LMFAO. You can raise taxes all you want but that will kill the economy. Ok, let's get rid of the military- now we're defenseless but that's only 600 billion gone. Ok, let's make the rich give all their money to us- at best you'll raise 100 billion from that. Don't you get it, you moron! Entitlements consume our budget! I agree we need to stop giving tax breaks and raise more revenue, and stop fighting in the Middle East, but that will only cut so much! We need to reform entitlements!

It's the tax cuts to the filthy rich and the Wall Street "too big to fail" bailouts from GW Bush that have us in this mess.
