AquaCraft Rio EP Brushless - Custom Paint

RC boating - new hobby for me. Dads got a place on the lake. Little brother and I looking for some thing to do on the dock together. Purchased this Auquacraft Rio EP. Had fun putting my own custom paint job on it with BASF Automotive candy paints. Then it didn't take long to get bored w/ the boat being slow. Does about 10-12 mph out of the box. Been learning about brushless electric motors and Lipo batteries, trim tabs, prop pitches, weight distribution etc. Fun stuff. Now I need a second boat so brother and I can run at the same time. Traxxas Spartan??? (specs - traxxas velineon 3500 waterproof system - motor and esc w/ cooling fan running on 2S 7.4 Lipo)

how did you paint the hull considering its plastic, any issue with applying the the paint

@blubyuGTP - I have access to BASF automotive paint that most don't . sand w/ 800, sprayed plastic primer, sprayed metalic silver, sprayed candy colors over the silver, then used flame stencils, sprayed entire boat black, then pulled the flame stencils off and clearcoated it. Sanded a little trash and texture out of clear with 1500 and buffed it out. Thanks for asking. Almost as fun painting as is to drive for me.
