Join Us to Talk to Suburban Officers about Voting Yes!
It's time to make history in Minnesota.
Six years ago, downtown security officers launched a drive that organized 1000 officers. Since then, the labor movement and our community allies have stood with us to win new contracts for janitors, security officers and window cleaners, changing thousands of worker's lives by winning affordable healthcare, fair wages and safer working conditions.
Now, a thousand suburban officers working for seven companies have the chance to join those workers as proud members of SEIU Local 26. As security officers continue to unite to improve their jobs and lives, we hope their organizing will inspire many more workers thoughout the state to stand up in their workplaces. We hope you can help security officers make this happen.
On Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18, we will be launching a Stand for Security blitz. We are asking our labor and community allies to join us for eight-hour shifts to talk to suburban security officers about voting yes.
