Korean War: in Color

The Korean War known as The Forgotton War was fought over 50 years ago. Our young men fought and died as they are dying today in Iraq. Powerful anti-war statement.

My grandpa was a marine and went home with a purple heart but he is dead now and after seeing things like this I feel so blessed to have people lay down their lives for us.

Great great video. Thank you for making this. I showed it to my dad who was in the Korean war. Check out my video sometime I made about the Korean War. I really like the song you added.

I was an American soldier and I served in Korea, but not in the war. Still, there was shooting along the DMZ. But there are 40 million people living in the Republic of Korea, and they live in a free country, and it's a very nice country, 20 million live like prisoners in the north. The song asks "what was it for". In Korea, I saw, I knew exactly what it was for. Protecting people from evil is the finest thing a soldier can do, and I am glad to have done it. The men who fought are heroes.
