  • @pofrani The bar endo was invented first, but the handle-bar did not touch the ground. A guy who lived in Miami (who's last name is Hopper) started touching it all the way down and called it the Miami Hopper. Then people started doing variations, no handed, no footed etc.

  • @colony69

haha - did you ever manage to make that video?

  • legend°

  • i wonder if my peregrine masters on my rl20 would be able to take this after 24+ years!

  • 4inch pegs weren't invented then and you had to touch the handlebar on the ground. This is not right. The trick in this video is actually harder to do tho, and PROPS! I'm going to stop talking and do a vid on how to do it, watch this space

  • LOL - damn right! regarding the hopper, remember tho - they used to have their foldup pegs attached halfway up the forks.

i remember coz i used to have a poster of GT's Martin Aparijo in a Hopper pose! :-)

i can't wait to get my bike and start riding again. not sure if i still will be able to do those tricks tho

  • that sounds insanely badass...except if you ride flatland/oldschool, you need pegs, which would prevent bar end touching.

i agree though dude, old school is the reason for the new school!

  • there's no other name for it. it was called a miami hopper when it was invented - people shouldn't change old school tricks names! respect the old school!!!

and i believe you shouldn't have the pegs there - the grip end should land all the way to the ground. and you rest on the back tires.

  • how long does it take to learn that

  • Yep im learning it!!
