The U.N.'s human rights rapporteur Paulo Sergio Pinheiro is currently in Myanmar, trying to assess how many people were killed and arrested during the recent crackdown on pro-democracy protests.
He is expected to raise claims of human rights abuses during talks with Myanmar's military rulers in the capital, Naypyitaw.
One person prepared to speak out about the alleged abuses is also one of Myanmar's most famous comedian: Par Par Lay.

Some form of hope (and comedy) is needed to keep sane, but Burmese people want hope not only for themselves but as a nation and for the nation, I am Burmese and I believe in that sentiment. Please don't disrespect the people (foreign or native) who have lost their lives or livelihoods for trying to bring change to our nation.
and the problem is.... everybody shit in their pants when they heard they need to come face2face with the godlike burmese army, no joke!no blah blah blah!
Free Burma. Blah blah blah. Human right in Burma blah blah blah. UN resolutions blah blah blah. Gambari blah blah blah. Only a missile to the NayPyiDaw will stop the blood flowing down from Burma. Don't give a damn to Chinese, they have to feed 1 billion people of their own, they can't afford war with WEST. If you can't , please stop giving bloody hope to Burmese people. Even they dare to kill monks, for killing another street protesters is, well...they will say " BORING!!! "

physical problems require physical solutions. tyranny is not a philosophical issue. it's delusional to think the pathological may be reasoned with. they may only be removed by force. there simply is no other way and never has been, not ever, and never will be. resistance is not to descend to the level of the oppressor, but to ascend above corrosive coercion.
THAT OF THE ENEMY Don't get it wrong, when warriors say We shed blood, For they mean, that of the enemy. When the fighters speaks out "We love death" They mean that of the foe Hate your enemy, love his/her death. Love your homeland, for it you should bow A tyrant is a rat that feeds on your blood While it gets fat, you fade away Your blood is your wealth Blood is life It is for this reason the tyrant is a vampire Whose pocket so big will empty a continent.
A soldier's food needs to be material as well of the mind So, red pepper will keep the monk at the tip of his feet The Dalai Lama says to sit and let China expand To medidate and watch the extinction of Tibetians Oh! Arise Asia, land of the many Gods, Revolt! Land of Krishna and the hundred headed Gods! A monk is like a king's eunuch who's cut away from all violence without which Freedom and homeland cannot be protected.
Without their peaceful ideology, there are no Tibetan monks. Without the monks and their lamas, the root of Tibetan culture is lost. The Chinese do not seek to kill Tibetans, but to kill Tibetan culture. If Tibetans respond with violent revolution, who has won the war? Time and trade will topple the totalitarian Han Like water wears down a mountain And I feel forced to write in blank verse.
