They were made for "Giselle." Of all the greatest ever to come of ballet, the best ever were those who came out as defectors. And these two rank among my absolute faves. Neither got the credit they deserved. Should have been renown as movie stars. His animal way, cavalier looks and her overall perfection in every possible aspect of ballet itself. Here they are, doing one of the finest works in all ballet history. They should still be dancing now.

What a handsome couple they made - everything seemed so effortless for them, way beyond dancing.. They complemented each other so well - him so tall and her with those long, long legs and oh that passion - Mikhail never made her look this good. This is as good as it could ever have been in our lifetime. I am grateful for the narration from M. Dolin with Mme M. was response and we must be grateful that M. Godunov was partnering. Such a loss the G. died too young...
