Ah, poor Villazon...seems like he's having a hard time, especially with the high notes toward the end, some that he couldn't even reach. His tone throughout is thin and it seems he was going hoarse and he's forsing all the way. Obviously that cyst was a major probem.
It's quite dissapointing, since this is so much below his potencial. I remember seeing other videos of him that displayed tonal beauty and technical ability that reminded me of Caruso!
I hope he overcomes these difficulties...

@teresa59 am not really a fan of his, I wanted to compare the 2 so I watched this, he overacts, not really brooding at all. I will save my money for Tosca on July 17th and Les Trojans nxt year.

Veo que no estas nada informado: Villazón fue operado en Junio del quiste en las cuerdas vocales, y se reincorpora a primeros de 2010, totalmente recuperado.
