how did u make the quality so good?
-
I heard that FS 200 does not come with a remote controller? is that true?
-
Weird things is that the FS10 is generally cheaper than the FS200 since it's an older model ($299 at Costco with a case and extra 4GB SD card), has 8 gigs of on-board memory and larger pixel count (1.07MP CCD versus 680k on the FS200). Something worth noting.

At 0:08, you had a clip where it focused in and out. What settings do you have, because I can never get my Canon FS100 to focus on one thing and blur the background.

There is a manual focus setting, accessible through the joystick control. It's a bit of a thing to find and use... pivoting the stick left and right (click click) brings the focus in and out. There are also controls for shutter speed - or frames, i should say. The little machine has a number of tricks available, quite a bit of modulation, on a camera this size. Check the canon site for a download of the full instruction manual...

Hi,
imported into iMovie 08, exported at 640 by 320 or so. Footage played directly from the camera seems to need "de-interlacing"; it's smoother after processing through the quicktime steps in iMovie.
Search the web for the many detailed technial conversations about these issues. Me, I let the computer do the work!

In response to question - what setting? - the highest quality that the camera offers (9mbps, I believe), using manual zoom.
