  • wow this Ravenite guy seems to have some serious problems lol

  • ravenite, your ignorance is just astounding. this is a very well mixed and amazing soundboard recording. the recording shadowman has is from Seattle 7/17/1977 which was professionally filmed, but doesn't sound as good as this, though it's still a great recording, and an awesome show overall.

and tell me, why the fuck would you want to blast somebody that uploaded this great song for everybody? sad...

  • pure class see what u yanks could've been

  • I <3 b-bender tele.

  • This sounds a lot like the version they played when I saw them in the Seattle Kingdome, 77.

They played for 3 hours and 20 minutes

  • most of the people think the best version of this song is 4-8-1979 but i think 1977 versions are far better than 79 versions, and maybe this is the best performance of the song.

  • @Ozzybeans Very true. I am glad people know this :)

  • Zep101: I want his Danelectro dc59 !! Im like =O when I watch him play In My Time Of Dying !

  • Actually, to be a Zeppelin nerd, the slidey sound Jimmy is obtaining is from a B-Bender installed on his Telecaster, which bends the B-string up a whole step when pressure is applied to the neck :eng101:

  • I'd love to see what the stage setup was like, with Plant saying that JPJ is playing a 3 neck guit-fiddle, and it sounds like Page has a slide on a finger. I saw them at the felt forum (NYC) in '77, but I have no idea what songs they played, other than "Kashmir" (hi) I missed on some really good memories!!
