  • @timsackbutt Orchestre National de la R.T.F

    Source from Discogs.com:

French orchestra founded January 18 of 1934 and run by French broadcasting service Radio France.

... conducted by Manuel Rosenthal (1944-1947), Roger Desormiere (1947-1951), Maurice Le Roux (1960-1964)... Since this was recorded in 1962, it's Maurice Le Roux.

  • @YibiaoWang It's actually Louis de Froment

  • le plus grand de tous

  • What is the name of the conductor?

  • @sagarflute That is also a possibility. I said that at the moment because I'm not used to listening to that concerto being played a couple of clicks faster.

  • he si my idol too, i said, the best flautist had ever been in the history of the music

  • By the way, who is the conductor?

  • That was Rampal's way to tell the conductor, "U ain't taking the steam out of this locomotive!".
