1- Carrying a knife is not stupid. Espcially if you are trained. It saved my life years ago.
2- It does'nt have to be long to be effective. 2 inches into an eyeball does a great job.
3- A small box cutter can easily cut through a jugular vein.
4-CLaX 1227 is correct. Inmates do more with less.
5- It's not the weapon so much as the person willing to use it.
6- If you are squeemish about hurting someone-that someone is not squeemish about hurting you. Take your choice.

@cLaX1227 over 4 inches to "do anything" ??? Really? Pretty sure your heart isn't 4 inches into your chest, your windpipe isn't 4 inches thick, your eyes aren't 4 inches deep. I would also say the "average woman" doesn't carry a knife, but those that do would likely be fine with 2". Thanks for playing

@TheRealestEver Carrying a knife is stupid to even have a knife that will do anything has to be over 4 inches long which is way over state limit in some cases, plus a person with a knife can easily drop or be disarmed while using said knife
