Tammy discusses the impact of Sarah Palin's good looks on voters' attitudes. This segment was prompted by a researcher who was announcing the results of a psychological study in which subjects speculated about the abilities of Sarah Palin and Angelina Jolie based upon physical appearance. Unfortunately, this researcher had nothing to say, although she took a fair portion of the segment saying it.

Nonsense of a study. Should not have used known people as people already have an opinion of Palin and Jollie before they even entered the study.

I am really appalled at people's lack of efforts to even remotely understand the process of science. This was an experiment in social psychology, which attempts to generally explain human social behavior, not politics. The study is not about whether or not Palin is competent. The study was quite well designed to test its hypotheses, which anyone who read the article and understands experimental design can easily tell. Please, PLEASE try to inform yourself before slandering someone's work.

The PhD sounded like a Ph Dufus. The reason for the outcome of the study is that Jolie comes across as being more poised than Palin. When interviewed, Jolie seems to say all the right things with all the right manorisms. Palin, on the other hand, act like a deer in the headlights and gives sporatic answers when interviewed one on one.

When I was in school along time ago I briefly considered majoring in psychology. Soon decided it was not really a science. Mostly philosophers in scientist's clothing. But at least back then the philosophers where incredibly great minds like Freud and Jung. Today we have people like Jamie Goldberg - a most consummate donkey. Makes you wonder.

I think Palin was shot down because she was dumb as a stick. Also, her extreme views became apparent. She was thrown into the mix so Obama would win, he was the "chosen one". Both parties work for the same people. Just more trash by BillO, he is such an idiot.

Sarah Palin is known nationwide. Everybody coming into the study was already prejudiced. Therefore the experiment was as stupid as a karatechopducker.

Angelena Jolie has no skills. Her job is to be hot. How can you study her attractiveness as related to her competence when here competence is to be attractive. This experiment was as dumb as a karatechopducker.

This 'scientist' Jamie Goldberg is pretty hot, therefore she is right. Or wrong. Either way I'd like to fuck her.
