you're right I mixed up the BM version with the TM (in my head while answering multiple responses) and wrote T. There are currently about 40 SM variants according to a report from a couple of weeks ago (I've got if interested)

@Husar101 Dont forget the HUD introduced in SM version. Also, there is only 1 Active Su-25T out of 8 production built. So, VVS only uses Su-25, Su-25BM, Su-25UB, and (Numbers vary) several Su-25SM.

not much external difference :
The Su-25SM upgrade includes: the new PrNK-25SM nav/attack system with sat-nav receiver, multi-purpose LCD, and SUO-39 fire control system. The upgrade is claimed to offer two to three times greater accuracy in weapons delivery and up to ten times in navigation accuracy. The upgrade also replaced the RWR with the L-150 electronic intelligence station and enables the use of R-73 advanced IR guided air-to-air missiles and KAB-500Kr TV-guided bombs.
