One should know when to stop doing things (however well he used to do them). Otherwise he may become one's own caricature :(

Ricci could well be the most-recorded violinist. Or Heifetz or Kaufman - who really knows?

I am a violinist today because of growing up listening to Ricci and Heifetz LP Recordings. Still to this day he is my favorite recorded violinist. I never heard Corelli, Bach, Tartini, Paganini or Vieuxtemps though. So who knows? This is great to see him.

Violinoamore...I'm not sure what you mean by this comment? I see nothing wrong with the video I posted. In fact, it's a testament of Ricci's tenacity that he is still mentally sharp at 92 years of age. Of course, he can't play any longer, but he is still teaching and even though I am not a professional violinist but a physician, I have still learned an immense amount from him. I think you become a caricature if you are not true to yourself! Ricci has always been honest with his approach.
