Oh my god, first time listiner of this version and definitely this song is not meant to be sung by a woman. The absolutely ultimately best version is done by Dire Straits.

I don't believe this is a Dylan Song... I'm pretty certain Mark Knopfler wrote this one. Also, it's awesome that bands are reviving this song because it's so amazing, but I can't say I'm a fan of them in general. Mark Knopfler has the perfect voice and guitar for this. WAY more emotion.

@maineblackbear08 This song was dedicated to his relationship with Holly Vincent. He wrote it after she broke up with him.
