casio cz5000 cz 5000 synthesizer keyboard controller

?? how does it work? There are 3 manuals with this none of them says how the sequencer works!! So I muck about on it and find tone mix, bells and whistles etc. yes, harsh sound clean through the mixer -anyone know how the sequencer works?? PLEASE! It has a midi out and can be used as a controller with Garageband, works ok

@zomvor Hi the melody is Bach's 'jesu god of man's desiring, or words to that effect in G maj' elsewhere there is a bit of pink floyd - a mish mash!

Hi, I just picked one up myself. Just google Casio CZ 5000 Manual. Get the one from the 1st link. Its a big PDF of the original manual. It has a very detail explanation of how to program the sequencer. Hopefully that helps!

quick question, cz5000 have midi in/out? also Ive heard it has a sequencer, is this true? one more for the road, how do the keys feel, decent, or are they toylike?

p.s. - yes it has a sequencer with 8 tracks - but the manuals don't help with this!

hello - yes it has midi in/out; foot pedal, sustain; phones; and also a cartridge input for stored sounds. I experience a slight delay with the midi which can be off-putting, but i understand this is typical. I use the midi to connect to a Mac (see my oxygeneiii video). The keys are full size 3/4 depression, the best in their day - but not touch sensitive of course -shame!
