Would anyone be able to help with this? I've narrowed the problem down to the monitor's power supply, the monitor's power cable, or the video card. You can't hear it, but it also makes a high pitched beeping/ticking noise every time it blinks. You can see the green power light going on and off. I turned the light off because I was hoping you'd be able to see screen light up with the green power light, but you can't.
EDIT: I'm leaving this up for anyone who might have the same problem, but I fixed it by just replacing the monitor entirely. I don't know if simply replacing the power supply or cable would have worked, but at least I know the issue was definitely with the monitor.
i just had this happen to me now after the screen went on standby i went to take it out of standby the screen started flashing like that. i think its defo a blown capacitor, coz everytime it flashes it makes a noise like you said and when i take out the plug you can hear it powering down
