Earth Hour 2011 @ SMK Katibas

This is a video of the Earth Hour 2011 event at SMK Katibas, a school located in the interior of Sarawak's forest.

The video will firstly show you how deep in-river the school is.
Then, it will move on to cover the event.
The event was held at the Multipurpose Hall of SMK Katibas from 7pm-10pm.
It started with a short presentation about the environmental harm caused by the living habits of the local communities.
Then, there was a banner design activity where every student had to write down their wish for the Earth & sign.
After the lights went off, the students stepped outside into the warm glow of candlelight to sing a few songs under the stars.
Finally, the students prayed in groups out loud for the Earth before a concluding prayer by their teacher.
