The MC known as 1st Word has been cutting his way through the Hip-Hop scene like a warm knife through butter. After a number of years honing his skill in groups like The Sleepy Eye Souljah, Dun Deal, and One Oak, 1st Word has established himself as a solo artist. He's already released three solo albums, "Say Word", and "Bright Lights Scar City" Volume 1 & 2, and is set to release Volume 3 in the Bright Lights Scar City series early in 2010. You can also watch for "The Last Stand", to be released mid to late 2010.

"Where Would I Be" is a single dedicated to the source of his strength, his family. Teaming up with Najjah Calibur of Blues Underdog, 1st Word infuses lyrical talent with touching honesty in this powerful tribute.
