I started out using the kdenlive video editor in an attempt to create a video from mp3 song file, and some jpg picture files. For some unknown reason, the kdenlive application kept cutting off the last 20 seconds of the mp3 song. After about 10 attempts to create the video, I finally gave up. This is when I watched Spatry's tutorial on using the 'OpenShot' video editor. OpenShot worked much better. Maybe this had something to do with kdenlive possibly being a kde thing? Glitches with gnome?

@brobriobri sorry you were having problems there... I never had this issue myself... I will admit though that openshot does a better job of rendering the final video.

Since I could not replicate this issue myself, I will give you a link to a page which should help you quell this problem. I saw a few resolutions listed there and one of those should help you.
Please check: kdenlive.org/forum/mlts-sdl-module-not-found-0

@Legozmindz Is it the "Kdenlive MLT's SDL module not found" error? If this is what you are experiencing, it is a known bug and it has been reported.
