  • it would of started properly if the timing was perfect.

  • no starting problem.just someone who doesnt know what position the adjuster needs to be in to start..

  • no i found out the problem it was a spark plug shorting out

  • why wont it run properly?. does it need a trolley?

  • i think the valves need cleaned and the engine does need a trolley but i have not had the time at the moment to get it measured for one.

  • That was funny. C'mon start, NOW please. OK wait.......STOP! come back, its running away, HELP!!!! Love these little Lister engines. Got some cold start diesel models and absolutely love them. A sound reminder of a time when things were built to last and engineering kept simple. Great vid thanks

  • Nice engine, don't be frightened of it though!

Getting one of these in a few weeks time, I think you'l agree they are great machines.

Keep the nice video's coming mate.

  • My advice it to try again when you can actually understand the basics of the engine, also when you dont shy away from it, its not going to hurt you, only if you make it anyway, but i was always told, a little knowlege can be very dangerous!!!

  • It wanted to run away from you at the beginning (: ... and you also you are quite scared of it, but that's not quite bad.

  • love the lister a! needs a nice turntable trolley thow but otherwise geat!

  • I had problems with my Lister A with the fuel pump. Runs like a dream now!!
