The real truth of it all is that just about any of these situations for us can be avoided (unless u live in Poland like our friend a few post down!). I do believe if you carry a weapon you are more likely to find yourself in a situation to use it.
I started out like most of you boys! We all had our fights when we were young but once you take your ego out of it, you can defuse just about any situation without aggression. Maybe thats a weapon we all should spend some time sharpening.

On the topic of the "sheep dog" mentailty, I think that people sometimes consider themselves as such, but once presented with the situation just freeze up, or are really just putting up that persona to seem tougher.
THat's also very dangerous if you put yourself in that position and don't know how to back it up.

I used to carry the same knife. Till it rusted out, it was a great knife. I don't think they sell them at walmart anymore but my cousin said he can get me a military grade version of it for a good deal.

@shaykai Well i live in Florida and infact im not 100% sure if im correct, just that a cop once said that to my dad because he was using his 5 1/2 "alligator killing" knife. Anyways, straight blades to me just seem sturdier and more solid. And about the no spin throwing techniques, i learned one a while back reading a book called "combat knife throwing". look Ralph THorn up on youtube and he has a good tutorial on the no spin throw

@64notorious What state do you live in? I find that the 'knife blade length myth' is pretty common here in California where there is actually no law about the length of the blade. You could have a freaking sword in your pocket as long as it folded in two. I personally wouldn't mind trading a blade length law if we could carry a straight blade concealed. I think straight blades are a lot better, especially for utilitarian tasks like you mentioned.

@shaykai In the U.S. if the blade is over 6 inches its illegal (or at least in my state) and your right a pocket knife is legal. Btw i saw your other vid on posers who think their bad ass for carrying a knife. Im a outdoorsy teen and i use my knife for cutting up fish, skinning animals, cutting rope, etc (everyday purposes) but i wouldnt hesitate to use a blade in a fight where i feel threatened for my life. i really like knives and even want to learn how to forge knifes and tomahawks for fun

Not gonna lie, I thought you were going to be talking about The Force, lol.
Very interesting things to think of, and lot of people should if they are going to carry weapons with them.
Question: Isn't it illegal to carry quick draw knives, like the one you have, or is that a state to state thing?
