we once saw the red moon really we was like is the sun lighting the moon? what happened why is ti red? now i know it

Yeah I saw it then the news said it was going to happen two days later and no one would see it because of bad weather ? On another point has any one ever seen the sky change colour and light up in a bright blue. It was a dull-ish day but every thing around me lit up in a vivid neon blue, I'm used to all kind of weather conditions but never seen any thing like it.
