  • foundling does have action and there arnt ferries in it or wizards

  • The action usually involved the main character getting saved by someone else (I don't recall any of the characters' names, sorry). There were only two or three mildly exciting scenes. Other than that, I found the book to be horribly tedious and boring. This is only my opinion, but I have to say, Foundling is down there on my least favorite books list. Everyone has their own taste.

  • Foundling? No action? A guy gets his head blown off in the first hundred pages douchebag

  • I'm sorry you disagree with me, but that gives you no reason to insult me. Sorry for having an opinion. I really did not notice much action, as opposed to a book like "Wizard's First Rule" which is crammed with action.

  • wtf foundling was sick its the maddest

  • I always imagined Hester has half stunningly beautiful, half horrifically hideous. The scarred side of her face would be so overpoweringly disturbing that you wouldn't even notice her normal side. You know the movie would suck though. Hester would probably be way to feminine (even though she's way more manly than Tom). And of course it would be mostly CGI. I don't think they'd actually build mile-wide cities on wheels.

  • phillip reeve said that he couldnt imagine mortal engines as movie because the companies would change the story too much and would want hester to be pretty as well as it mostly being cgi

  • good reviews i couldnt agree more about the hungry cites keep up the good work

  • Yo i liked this, and Airborn is one of my favorites too.

  • I heard they are going to make them into movies...

  • Got that right. You know, there's whispers that they're going to make a Mortal Engines movie? (or movies, I can't remember which)
