read the pic manual. hall effect sensors gives demodulated pulses in the form of square waves. Just setup your pic to count the number of rising edges in a given time and with some algebra you have rpm. You have to figure out your how your engine reads rpm. some have 4 pulses per revolution, some have 80+

please send diagram and hexadecimal code. you can build a tachometer from 0 rpm (minimum) at 3000 rpm (maximum) I buy : hugos_31@hotmail
