This was done for my CyberArts class, but has always been on my mind for something to do. I wanted to cover the song To Tame a Land because it's my favourite song from Iron Maiden, and instead of just filming a cover, I got the inspiration from RR0849 to do this type of video. All the guitar tracks were recorded by me, and I used a drum and bass track that I got from Guitar Pro. Everything for the song was pieced together in Audition. I filmed both tracks individually and pieced them together, then synced them with my recorded cover. It was a pretty long process but I'm happy with the end result.
I used my Jackson DK2M through a JCM 800.

FYI, you can reduce the sparkling on your pants by adjusting the feather on the masking. The things that programming a broadcast system can teach you...

@Guaguadeath Obviously this isn't exactly how Iron Maiden would have played it back in '83, but it is still a fairly accurate -cover- and by no means a "fake lazy not as good sounding way". Check out any other cover video on YouTube, and any tabs for the song, the open E string is definitely used so I don't see where your issue is coming from. Besides, the video was far more oriented towards learning about video editing and audio recording for my class, surely you can appreciate that?
