Han Solo Versus Greedo

A stop-motion exercise using 12-inch Star Wars action figures. Shot in my garage and edited on my laptop using Flash 8. I scratch-built all the sets. My goal was to recreate this classic scene from Star Wars, shot-for-shot, using stop motion techniques. You may want to crank up your speakers a bit for this one...(And in MY version, Han Solo STILL shoots first!)

Man i loved that!!! great job! what edition figure was that Han Solo? I liked the looks of that one! I want to try and get that exact figure.

@dkstryker The headsculpt, gun and belt are from the (Hasbro) Hoth Han Solo. The rest of the outfit came from other sources I forget... I replaced both Han and Greedo's bodies with Hasbro's "Super Articulated" GI Joe.

Hm, this simple stop-motion video works better for me than all of the prequels put together, with all their CGI.

Maybe because you did the right thing.
