Dormtainment Rap - I sometimes like to compare Dunwoody to Heaven? - Fox5

DUNWOODY, Ga. - It's one of Atlanta's most desirable suburbs and now it's the home of a hip hop hit. Twitter and Facebook are buzzing about a viral YouTube video all about Dunwoody. Atlanta rappers love to talk up their neighborhoods from Bankhead to Boulevard, but the six guys in the comedy team Dormtainment might be the first ever to focus on Dunwoody.

With its well-manicured lawns solid brick homes and Starbucks and Fresh Foods, the city now has its own rap. The four-day-old video was created by six recent college graduates who all live in the city. "I'm proud to say Dunwoody is my 'hood. That's our suburb," said Mike Anthony.

The guys took FOX 5's Justin Gray on a tour of their studio. It's their apartment. The comedy crew put out new videos on the web each week.

Not all residents were happy about the new attention. "I don't think they appreciate Dunwoody," said Sandy Moore.

The guys say they really do love Dunwoody. "I sometimes like to compare Dunwoody to maybe Heaven," said one of the guys.

In just four days, the video already has more than 50,000 YouTube views. The guys got more than 200,000 views for last week's video as well.

They've already figured out what they're next step is -- they want Dunwoody Ryan Seacrest on the remix.

While the guys admit they're having a little fun at the town's expense, they say the inspiration for the song was how nice their neighbors have been since they moved to the area in the spring.
