Mr. Chopra, the Chief Technology Officer for the U.S. is discussing the Blue Button (BB) Initiative. Moving from paper records to Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is not about wasting money, it's about saving lives. EHR systems can detect medical errors, reduce healthcare costs, improve medical technology, and improve overall quality of care.

high unemployment, economic disaster looming and prices rising including health care. solution, digitize medical records and spend a shit ton of money. good luck with that.

Money ($20+ billion) is "flowing to doctors and hospitals" so they can digitize medical records, but we don't have enough money to pay our obligations to the elderly and/or disabled on S.S.? We don't have enough money to feed poor kids? What am I missing?

Dear LulzSec please hack something HUGE that will show people how serious digital medical records are!

popular user friendly computers have been around for about 30 years, and we are still struggling over putting records on computers. Honestly, what the fuck.
