  • very nice vid!

  • @gkkhan Hi, it's nice to be of help to someone who is just starting out. Like all things, motorbikes are confusing until you have been in them for a while. most cruisers are five speed, but i had a quick look on the net and found a 93 of your bike which said it had four gears. That is one gear down, and three gears up. I have included a forum about your bike, which could be very useful if you look through it. google is good for any prob you have, someone usualy knows how to fix it.

  • @owl56 Thanks for replying back.I have another question to ask. I have a 1992 Honda Shadow VLX - 600 Motorcycle that I purchased it years ago and always thought that my bike only has three gears, now I'm finding it might have six gears and that most cruiser bikes have 6 gears, is that true and could my bike have 6 gears instead of 3. When I purchased the bike it didn't come with a owner's manual. Whatever information you could give me will be most helpful, because you know more than I do.

  • @gkkhan If possible, try to go for a ride with a group, and you will get all the information and experience you need. So, happy riding! Cheers Owl

  • @gkkhan Hi, it is great to hear that you are going to be riding. First gear is only used to get you going, and you change to second pretty quick. I never look at the speedo, just listen to your engine. if it is screaming, then change gear; don't let it scream for long. You always need to be in a gear where you can accelerate instantly, so you know you are in the right gear if you can accelerate. If you are in too high a gear it will go chug-chug, and you will lose control of the bike. good luck
