Amazing! I visited Boston last week and actually walked around this area. Looks so different in this video. Beautiful park now in front of the Boston Harbor Hotel and the wharfs in the area. I never visited before the "Big Dig" tunnels were built so never got to see all this. I first visited in 2004 and sections of the old bridges were being torn down near the then Fleet Center.

@luisrp - You might want to also check my North Station Slideshow vid, which has photos I shot around the North Station T and the Garden in 1990. Just about everything I photographed there is now long gone as well..

@mediadude08 - That's actually steam venting from an underground main. Kind of common around downtown Boston streets..

@Jsd8675 The speed liimit was still 55 back then. Plus people did drive a bit better then in my opinion.
