Established in 2008, the Chamber's main motto is to spread steel business across India and international market through its six main board members. In other words, this portal shows the best picture of entire steel industry market of international trade on internet. The web portal markets the steel industry broadly with wide variety of interests.

Because of this we can say Chhattisgarh steel industries provide major momentum to the growing economy of the state and also to other industries like aluminium, cement, thermal power, mining and various specialized industrial areas. Chhattisgarh state is rich in reserves of iron ore and mineral deposits and is now having more than 100 steel rolling mills, sponge iron plants and Ferro-alloy units, all of which are able to provide world-class output.
