the matrix sweded (digitally)

SJSU; ART 101A; SPRING '09; swede; when asked about what movie we would like to see sweded (from "be kind rewind"), i thought of the matrix, because it's one of my favorite movies. it turns out that's what our next project was. this was the most time consuming project i've had. on top of the fact that premiere ELEMENTS crapped out on me when i was roughly 70% finished with my editing, so i had to come into school during spring break and re-edit with final cut PRO, the shooting took roughly 2 1/2 to 3 weeks due to scheduling, and editing took roughly 24 hours. however, it was also the funnest. i hope you enjoy it.

I have to admit, I was initially knocked off by this one. My whole thing about it was contesting that an "authentic" swede was one where nothing was to be added in post pro. But after realizing that everyone (for the most part anyway) incorporates post into their project, I wasn't going to knock you for it. I saw the movie and can say that you covered the essentials. The audio could have been better IMO, but the effects were awesome (Trinity kick was sweet lol), and this is a job well done.

really interesting visuals i like how everything was paced, and good costumes, also some of the scenes where you shot this was a good connection witht the movie, you captured the essence of the movie very well

That was awesome. It was really well made. The soundtrack was really creative and youre a pretty good actor. Your effects were really clever also.

Loved how you did the bullet time effects. The one thing that makes this a great swede is the quick rapidfire edits.

I loved the dancing and the special effects you created. Your shots where great and you where really creative in recreating it. I think matrix would be really hard to swede but you did it and it is great!!! A++++

The acting is spot on. This really makes it for me. I also think the cuts and effects were effective. The audio could be tweaked. Overall I was entertained and delighted.

I've watched it several times, and I honestly can't find anything wrong with it. I really like it. It covers all the main points of the movie very well. I loved how you used the little stool for Neo lean on when he was dodging the bullets.
