As Hawkeye Pierce would say:
Don't let the bastard win!
-
why do you need to bleed diesel???

I have similar issue with my Diesel 81 Isuzu P'up. Snapped a banjo bolt to the return line on the injector, now have air in lines and won't start.. would start before (though had glowplug issues, but i changed them so hopefully that fixed it.
Gonna basically try this to get truck started, crack lines (all or 1 at a time?) and crank till fuel sprays then tighten down and crank. I don't know anything about a compression release lever on this though...

il give u 6000 for it whit collecion and i live in ireland
-
the compression is a HUGE load on the starter.

I don't know about Yanmar diesels , but your Dodge has the best if its got a Cummins.

Grouse tractette's. But learn to do it properly.
He has fuel running into the drains, which lead to storm drain and river, then sea.
Nice one polluto!
Hey at least we probably all did that with our first diesels, unless we were taught by a sage master of the y'art!
Thanks Luke, you'll be a Jedi yet!

I have a yanmar to so whats the compression release for i heard it like jake breaks???

No, its not like a jake brake, its used for starting the tractor for a couple of reasons:
With the compression release lever pulled, the valves open so the engine turns over with no compression - therefore it doesn't start. This allows you to build oil pressure BEFORE the engine starts (better for the motor), and also, its easier on the starter since the weight of the turning flywheel helps start the engine instead of the stater from a dead stop.
