Fallout 3 - Seven Companions/Followers Glitch

Lol, I think I had all companions except Dog Meat. You can't get him without ruining the "glitch" I don't think. I didn't do this, I downloaded a game save from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=968.

If you want to know how to do spawn the enemies and such like using the console command key, firstly you'll need to have Fallout 3 on PC. This does not work on Xbox 360 or PS3.

Secondly, you need to bring up the console command by using the tilde (`) key. You can find it left of the 1 button and above the tab button.

Then you need to input certain codes to do certain things, such as spawning any enemies/characters, any weapons or items, gaining any perks, travelling anywhere,kill anything selected, unlock any doors,etc.... You can even unlock all achievements. It makes the game so much more fun than playing on 360.

The recording software I use is www.fraps.com as you can see by the watermark. :P Fraps is a really useful, easy to use, good quality software and best of all if you can stand the watermark it's completely free. Definitely recommend it.

To answer everyone saying "cheating" (which this isn't) is "gay" or "for noobs" there is a difference between cheating and having a bit of fun on a separate game save file. Bethesda wouldn't put stuff like this in if they didn't want you to just have fun with the game, after all that is the point of playing a game (to remind all you nerdy keyboard warriors) just to let you know i have completed this game and got all achievements legit on pc and 360. for those of you that cant get (`/tilde) to work: Open up the "Start" menu, go into "Control Panel" > "System and Maintenance" > "Device Manager". Click "Human Interface Devices". If you see "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver", right-click and uninstall it.

P.S I copied this from the wikia but it helped me a lot so I just want people to know what could be wrong.

you can get even more companions with the Sharing & Caring mod on Fallout3 nexus. You should hit that up. You can get more than 7 companions that way! I raided Old Olney the other day with a small army of 13!
