It only takes six Nuclear explosions, although strategically placed to throw the earth off it's axis and send the planet into a Ice Age. And then there is the global effect of a single test or explosion on our shared atomsphere. There use should not be taken lightly.

it's not WW3. It's called M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction). The idea is, if one nation launches nukes, the other nation will fire back, thus ensuring mutual elimination. Thus far, this has been a deterrent enough, and what I like to think of as "civilized" nations kept balance of these weapons in check.

Today's challenge is different. It's not nations that potentially launch nukes, it's terrorist organization. And aren't exactly motivated by M.A.D. (more like virgins)

No industrialized country will ever drop a nuke again. Wrap your heads around that. No leader wants to be responsible for the likes of another Hiroshima or Nagasaki. The point of dropping those bombs on Japan was to deter Russia and it worked. Not only for Russia but everyone else including the USA. No one wants to ever see that devastation again. Kids with their faces melted off.

Whoever if ever they were to drop a nuke, that country then has called WW3 upon themselves.
