I feel like maybe you're not putting yourself in Portlanders shoes, maybe? I don't mind the show, I occasionally find it annoying (I've seen and heard about "Put a bird on it" and "free range chickens" waaay too many times). There are sketches I enjoy. However, their portrayal of my city is pretty outlandish and different from the actual town. Imagine if someone made a statement like yours regarding YOUR town, or Hispanic people (assumption, losiento), and then everyone believed it. Just saying.

Wake the fuck up haters! This show is hilarious. I thought the second season was even better. I guess the people that are bitching about hipsters live inside a house with no doors or windows/ no way out into the real world. There are hipster/ different people everywhere you look.
