@ilovewathsala nope. 2004 was the year. HUGE earthquake in the indian ocean, they were not the only place hit by the massive tsunami. it may look small here, but it was not. it was the "boxing day tsunami"

@BeBeAyumi While other smaller, barely noticeable tsunamis may have happened that year or prior to it, the tsunami in the clip above is from December 26, 2004 and it's the same tsunami that struck Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka (location of the above video), India and other countries bordering the Indian Ocean. This was the tsunami that taught everyone what this phenomenon was and how deadly it can be. All the tsunami videos seen on YouTube marked from 2004 are from Dec. 26.
