Sagar, 2005 16.2h Perlino Czech Warmblood Stallion

We are very excited to present our imported Czech/German Warmblood stallion, Sagar. He is the first and only fully papered Perlino Warmblood stallion to stand at stud in North America! He is tall, correct, elegant and has outstanding movement and jumping ability. He has tremendous natural scope and is exceptionally quiet and laid back.

Sagar was presented to RPSI in August of 09. In the last jump of the video, he is shown jumping 4'6" with ease, and missed his book 1 scores by a hair, so he is SBII with wonderful comments from the inspection committee judges such as, "excellent canter...", "tremendous jumping potential...", "quiet, trainable temperament...", "correct conformation..." and ..."good character...".

This remarkable young stallion has inherited his incredible scope over fences, lovely gaits and fantastic conformation through successful competition bloodlines that includes the famous Holsteiner, Landgraf.

Sagar will produce fantastic competition prospects that will be eligible for RPSI registration, passport, branding and premium status upon inspection.

If you like GOLD, look no further, as he is guaranteed to produce palominos, buckskins, and rare smokey blacks when bred to non gray mares. (gray mares can pass on their gray gene). Sagar is EVA negative.

Sagar's breeding fee is $1,000 plus $150 booking fee.

And we have some recent news about him: Sagar was accepted as one of six stallions who will be the foundation sires for the Korean Verband project under the auspices of the USDA, Dr. Corey Miller DVM, ACT of EMCO, the NCIE. He is in FL for quarantine and freezing for the project. There is also additional semen available for purchase in the US as well as export to Canada, South Korea and the EU, thanks to Karen Berk @ ERS in Florida!
