PRO-164 radioshack scanner in car

I was driving on my way home on the highway and picked up these transmissions. I was using the telescoping antenna at the time. When I use the scanner in my car, I use the mobile magnet mounted antenna for better reception.

Towards the end, I had the CB radio on so don't let it confuse you.

As of 11/13/10 the Scanner is no more. I was in a car crash that day and the scanner flew forward and broke. It's gone.

y dnt u have it trunking an id scanning there pretty much worthless an ur missing out on alot of transmisions an it s worthless if it s not trunking!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know how at that time. With all the transmissions I caught without it, I don't think I wanted to know what else was going on O_O

@MrScrappydue I would not suggest getting the scan-master book,that company riped me off. I purchased a scanner and paid $75 extra for programing, and they forgot to do it. I sent it n again and they programed the town police, and not the state police. I sent it back and said keep it. I was still charged the $75 bucks along with a 20% restocking fee. This guy Sumner has selective memory and lied to master card,better them than me.

I have the scanner-master 11th edition.On page 142 you'll notice worcester trunked and it gives the trunked frequincys and pg 145 says they need to be in order.

LCN1- to LCN10 and when I had them mixed up I heard the cops but with some static and annoying noises. When the transmission was done ( when they hang up) I would hear a annoying beep.

I did put them on one channle( bank 9) and that's all I need because the whole city runs ( 75%) on these trunked freq. I get the school bus company.

@MrScrappydue That might help help me figure this out once and for all. The manual for the thing does not help me at all. I will have to try it when I have some free time. After about 16 posts on different youtube videos of the pro-164, you are the only one who replied to my question, and for that I am grateful.
