Only a subset of Malaysian citizens overseas are entitled the postal vote which allows them to vote from abroad. The privileged group are Malaysians who are civil servants, the armed forces and students. All other overseas Malaysians who can rightfully vote in a Malaysian election have to return to Malaysia to vote in person.

The aim of the MyOverseasVote campaign is to secure the right to vote for all Malaysian citizens who are living overseas, **without discrimination** on the grounds of employment or profession.

We are raising funds to support a legal action to force the Election Commission to allow Malaysians overseas to register as 'Absent voters'. To donate, please visit our website at http://myoverseasvote.org
