[by Leesa Stanion /STANION STUDIOS] "If I wanted supergerms in my meat, I'd be dating Andy Dick!" Joan Rivers carries on about the state of the US meat, poultry, and dairy food supply. Hormones, antibiotics, e coli, supergerms, irradiation, ammonia, sodium nitrate, arsenic in the chicken feeds, pesticide residues in the meat tissue, carbon monoxide packaging, GMO corn as cattle feeds, no testing for ongoing mad cow disease (-- a virus that can live in the soil for decades), And there are genetically modified estrogens in our dairy cows whose estrogen-induced inflamed bodies are slaughtered for meat when they can no longer produce milk, ...and it's all FDA-approved (think cheese, ice cream, coffee cream, kids drinking milk) ! Are these estrogen-mimicking compounds and chemicals in the food supply wreaking havoc on human hormonal systems? Of course not...they're all at "safe" levels! Are these estrogen-mimicking compounds in our burgers and environment explained away by the new "you were born that way!" campaign? Because as long as you were born that way, big pharma has no culpability. Because we all know that hormone disruption during fetal development is an irrelevancy, right?! And all estrogen-mimicking compounds in our food and environment are all at "safe" levels, right? And big pharma and its GMO chemical-company consorts are tirelessly feeding the world, nothing more, right? Plus, there will never come a time when we're all infertile or hormonally-emasculated or ED drug-dependent, right? Because all this hormone disruption was at totally "safe" levels and "you were born this way" -- with a little approval from the US FDA! [By Leesa Stanion / Stanion Studios. Music by Ellsworth Hall]
