Awesome - Remember how excited I was to get the vinyl boxset here in UK in the early 80's

I do a radio show in the UK. On Australia Day) I'll be playing 2 hours of Aussie music from the era: Hoodoo Gurus; Lime Spiders; Screaming Tribesmen; Celibate Rifles; The Saints; The Scientists;Exploding White Mice; Cold Chisel; and The Eastern Dark plus more... All listeners welcome! Sat 26th Jan'13 - 4pm to 6pm (EST). It won't let me add the webpage, but just google Ridge Radio in UK and track it down :)

Thanks for uploading this rare clip. Sent shivers up my spine. Radio Birdman were the best band to come out of Australia, IMO. People compare them to ACDC. I think they are boring formulaic dinosaurs. Other than TNT, I can;t stand to listen to their lp's. Their tracks all sound very simiar and it;s very blues based. BORING! Brain dead morons who buy their lp's and go their gigs. Birdman are the BEST!! FUCK the rest.

No worries... I appreciate your passion, but there is a lot more Australian stuff than Birdman. We also had The Saints, Screaming Tribesmen, and others

same reason The Saints and Canadia's Teenage Head don't.... they're not from the UK/US, which is an important aspect in the dogmatic world of popular music.

Love the video, but if the concert were in the U.S. or U.K. the kids would be bouncing off the walls. In this video, the audience is so subdued.
