I just wanted to say I'm a third year computer engineer and I'm beginning to realize I want to do something that will help the earth. I think I'm going to try to double major in environmental engineering. It will take me at least another two years but I see myself in these students... working for the planet, not against it.

do you work mostly outdoors or in labs?
X5Exotic 5 months ago
@X5Exotic I don't know about all of the research that is happening on campus, but I currently work in a water quality lab in the environmental engineering department. We frequently go out to various lakes around Los Angeles to get water samples, and then conduct most of our tests in the lab. For classes, most of the work will be in labs, but frequently professors will set up trips and tours so that we can learn more about what we are studying. Hope that answers your question!
